ASSOCIATE PRODUCER, LiveOps, Hearthstone
Pull up a chair and join us! The Hearthstone team is looking for a sharp and nimble producer to help support our LiveOps team. You’ll be one of the first points of contact to troubleshoot live issues and drive them to resolution with our development team and stakeholders across the company. Keeping the game running smoothly is your prime directive! To help you reach this goal, your super-power should be your super-human perseverance. You’ll need this both for keeping up with the ever-changing demands of a live service, but also for maintaining composure around a team that never passes up the opportunity to embrace the glory of irreverent absurdity, even in moments where one might normally think “this is a good time to pass up the opportunity to embrace irreverent absurdity.”
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Grow comfortable with the inner workings of our live architecture and solve problems where possible before reaching out for additional support.
• Manage our development and test game environments, and make sure the folks who need to test on them can do so consistently.
• Become the go-to person for our project managers in each of our regional offices to discuss local game service concerns.
• Support live game operations whenever issues occur – 24 / 7 support.
REQUIREMENTS
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability in tackling new challenges, even when outside your immediate area of responsibility
• Knowledge of software development process, and project management
• Comfort around adapting traditional production techniques to work in different team contexts
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a live software service role, or game producer role
PLUSES
• Past engineering, tools, and / or technical production focus
• Passion for collectible card games
• Experience working on mobile / tablet game development
REQUIRED APPLICATION MATERIALS
