Job Description
Real Estate Research Data Coordinator
Metrostudy, a Hanley Wood Company, is currently seeking a Real Estate Data Coodinator in the Bothell, Washington area. The Real Estate Research Data Coordinator will work directly under the local Research Manager (RM) in maintaining a proprietary database of real estate research. This individual will perform periodic audits of county records through online resources. He/she will capture and enter closings data for survey and non-survey markets. Compare and update lot ownership. Maintain queries for data extraction. Build and maintain builder profiles. Generate monthly update records for RM and RA’s. Update quarterly field survey. Update Home Builder Database. Collect and process recorded plats. Ensure the goals of accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
Job Responsibilities
Closings Process
• Run the automated processes to capture Assessor and Recorder data
• Evaluate changed ownership and/or recent sales information for input into the database
• Generate new floor plans for builders and assign to lots in the non-survey markets
• Update lot ownership based on new closing information
Plat Recordings
• Capture new plat, short plat and condo recordings from all counties (12 survey market counties and 5 non-survey market counties) on a weekly basis
• Process the plat recordings - save PDF's as development id in the plat maps directory, move the developments into the "recorded" status, build and assign all lots to the developer
• Verify typical lot square footage, width and depth
Data Entry
• Review and enter into the database, RM records for updates to lot information (builder, floor plan, pricing, construction status and availability), as well as other development changes (HOA fees, websites, new base pricing)
• Communicate with RM's regarding any questions or points of clarification
Data Quality Assurance
• Obtaining Assessor Parcel Numbers for recorded lots that do not have APN's assigned
• Reviewing data quality reports, researching and making necessary changes to the database
• Verifying the viability and accuracy of parcel numbers in the database (APN's that may have been copied to a new subdivision that need to be updated, mis-keyed APN's, etc.)
Home Builder Directory
• Verification of builder contact information for inclusion in the Hanley Wood Home Builder Directory
Job Qualifications
• Self-Directed: Must be able to work independently and as part of a team on large, multi-faceted, deadline driven tasks.
• Ability to perform research at counties and local municipalities.
• Excellent communication skills and a pleasant demeanor
• Detail-oriented professional with strong computer and analytical abilities
• Strong organization skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Committed to quality, accuracy, and efficiency
• Ability to formulate and execute basic internet searches
Salary for this position is $15.00 per hour.
