Why this could be your next big break:
This highly challenging position involves a broad range of editorial-, production-, and design-related responsibilities over a wide assortment of physical and digital products, including vinyl and CD albums and deluxe box sets with lengthy booklets
Here you’ll get to:
• Provide administrative support to the VP, Production
• Act as a liaison with freelance designers and our domestic and international printers to ensure all needs are met from design inception to printed product
• Manage art templates and reviewing design files and digital and physical proofs
• Maintain and internally announcing the production/release schedule
• Work in conjunction with internal production teams
Rockstar candidates will need to have:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Genuine and strong interest in and/or knowledge of a broad range of music
• Minimum of 1 or 2 years work experience, preferably as a copyeditor
• Superb grammar, writing, editing, and communication skills
It would be music to our ears if you also have:
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro
• Some knowledge of printing and color systems
• Some art or design experience
