Job Summary:
The Role:
House of Blues Entertainment’s Web Content & Production team, a division of Live Nation Entertainment, is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the heart of the live entertainment industry. As a Live Nation Entertainment Web Production intern, you can expect to develop your CMS and Front End/CSS skills as well as gain valuable, real-world experience in the live entertainment industry. This position will report to the Web & Production Coordinator and support with web and marketing duties.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Web & Production team with maintenance and creation of web properties
• Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and developers to build and maintain web solutions in CSS and HTML
• Working with a supervisor to see the process of order requests including microsites, email templates, edits to navigation and architectural changes, and other similar maintenance tasks
• Coordinate with production team in regular meetings
• Work with manager in requesting, editing and monitoring production of marketing collateral.
• Proof-reading and quality assurance of print materials, artwork, etc.
• Assisting in create excel spreadsheet reports to track specific performances for venues and campaigns.
• Assist and support our Social Media efforts and/or any related campaigns, reports and projects.
• Assist Web Developer/Content Manager by proofing links, content, browsing websites.
• Assist Marketing team in day to day activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school.
• Must be eligible for school credit (and supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request).
• A degree in Business or Computer Science is preferred, but not required.
• Understanding of JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, & CSS3 is preferred, but not required
• Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 16 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
• Detail-oriented and exceptional attention to detail is a MUST.
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks.
• The ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
• High proficiency in MS Office.
We are currently searching for a qualified individual to fill this internship position for the Winter/Spring 2018 semester at our Live Nation office in Hollywood.
This internship MUST BE for college credit and runs from January - May. It is a non-paid position with flexible hours (minimum 16 per week) to reflect the need of your college credit requirements.
