The primary purpose of the Field Manager role is to provide world class project partnership to the Kantar Added Value Qualitative insights team. Together the Field Manager will work closely with the Qualitative Insights team to manage all logistics of qualitative research studies: identification, selection, and engagement with appropriate field vendors. His/her role will also be to negotiate costs, manage all field aspects of the study.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Core responsibilities are: Field management / Administrative Lead / Support to project success with some project management.
• Create complex bid requests and costing for both domestic and international projects (multi country, multi stage)
• Negotiate with vendors
• Internal/external client liaison with vendors, consultation with Qualitative Research Project staff of all levels, and other support units.
• Screener writing and refinement
• Quality control of recruiting
• Problem solve and recommend solutions independently at all stages of the project, leveraging knowledge and expertise of the industry, best practices, creativeness to help grow the business
• Participate in briefing on projects to clarify the logistical needs and roles
• Liaise with teams and support cross Kantar collaborations.
• Work across the Kantar network with other companies in the Group, and even WPP
• Job tracking (quotas) for multiple simultaneous projects
• Make GPP compliance a second nature
• Quality checks on all paperwork/updates
• Have knowledge of and comply with CASRO rules and data protection/privacy controls
KEY OUTCOMES
• Help to manage all aspects of the Qualitative project process thoughtfully, accurately, thoroughly and on-schedule
• Help set up projects and coordinate/communicate with fieldwork operations and flagging issues and contributing to resolving them
• Design and write basic to complex questionnaires including ad-hoc and segmentation projects
• Perform basic analysis, including sub-group analysis
• Help to prepare reports and analyses for review in a data and story driven formats
• Help to consult clients on using quantitative insight to answer strategic challenges in portfolio planning, positioning and innovation
• Juggle multiple projects at one time and maintain full ownership of the day-to-day responsibilities
• Accommodate different working styles and needs
• Demonstrate high attention to detail – this is a must
CAPABILITIES
• The qualified candidate will have Project coordination experience in market research or related field.
• Successful experience working with multiple vendors and managers
• Proven versatility working with traditional and digital / mobile methodologies - to recruit or to conduct Research
• Bachelor’s degree (marketing concentration preferred)
• Client experience is a plus
• Experience recruiting via non-traditional channels / sources
• Excellent multiple tasking and organizational skills
• Ability to problem solve, solution seeking
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and social media platforms
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting deadlines. Must have the ability to re-prioritize constantly throughout the working day
