Conde Nast is rapidly expanding into the Pharma category and is looking for someone to be the in-house expert on Pharmaceutical companies advertising guidelines, and all approval processes required for getting advertising assets approved and live for client campaigns, including branded content, sponsored edit and traditional print and digital advertising. This person will join a new and growing team and will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of growing the Pharma business within Conde Nast. The Activation Manager, Pharma/Health will report to the GM, Pharma, and will report to the Director of Activation once that team is established.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to shepherd advertising assets through any regulatory approval processes necessary (ex. Pharma review boards, Med Legal, FDA, etc)
• Project manage creative from with concept review through creative development and asset launch
• At times, this person will be leading approval process on behalf of clients, while other times the person in this role will need to partner with the advertising agencies to get through the approval process in a timely and efficient manner
• Assist with coordinating and managing custom, online advertising programs for Pharmaceutical companies who are advertising across the Conde Nast portfolio
• Act as a consultant for groups across Conde Nast when it comes to pharma companies advertising guidelines and rules. Assist in making any necessary changes to ensure execution of pharma campaigns without issue, and meeting deadlines and managing budget
• Manage projects or portions of projects from start to finish. Work with internal and external stakeholders to manage deliverables to clients when needed.
• Help educate internal stakeholders about pharma advertising practices, what is and is not allowed, and help advise on how internal processes (and potentially advertising products) need to change and evolve to maximize ease of partnership with pharmaceutical companies
• Stay up-to-date with the pharma regulatory environment, particularly as it relates to advertising guidelines and practices, and bring knowledge back into the organization in an actionable way
• Work with brand product teams to communicate site and ad capabilities needs
Qualification/Skills
• 4+ years work experience in a relevant field
• Must have industry experience within an advertising or marketing agency, pharmaceutical company, biotech, or medical education organization
• Experience with Medical/Legal/Regulatory review processes
• Experience with the end-to-end process of launching digital media marketing campaigns for pharmaceutical companies
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
