Manager, Strategic Events & Special Projects - PRH Audio
Penguin Random House Audio is seeking a Strategic Events and Special Projects Manager to join our Marketing department. The candidate will coordinate logistics for events such as trade, consumer, and library shows. The candidate will also manage special projects such as our Volumes app, AHAB.us narrator database, campaigns for our retail and library marketing groups, as well as provide support for building partnerships. This unique position allows for the opportunity to liaise directly with corporate events, marketing, and publicity within a fast-paced environment.
Specific responsibilities include:
1. Executing event details and materials, including meeting agendas, run of show and day of programming schedules, and recap materials.
2. Maintaining event budgets, including processing invoices and working closely with the Marketing and Publicity Directors on event-related expenses and revenue projections.
3. Researching venues and vendors to help create a cost-effective event execution plan.
4. Curating and programming app content in an agile team setting.
5. Coordinating with marketing teams and internal resources to optimize efficiency of processes and workflow on special projects and website updates.
6. Project manage partnerships.

• 5-7 years relevant experience
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, including strong attention to detail
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize
• Ability to work independently as well as with multiple teams
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Languages and Programs
• Hands-on experience developing web-based applications using HTML, XCode, XML
• Understanding of website content management systems
• Experience with server platforms like Parse
• Hands-on experience with tools such as iTunes Connect and Localytics
• Experience with Omniture/Adobe Analytics
