Job Title
Director, Application Development
This position is responsible for the technical leadership and deliverables of the Allergan account; including all projects under the account. This person is accountable for ensuring that all development adheres to the client’s established standards and industry best practices. Additionally, the position is responsible for technical requirements gathering, technical architecture, technical management, code development, testing, application maintenance, and application enhancements.
Essential Job Functions

25 Interface with clients’ business and technical stakeholders to understand their requirements and communicate day to day status. This includes working in a dynamic, multi-vendor environment.
55 Manage the entire technical lifecycle of assigned projects and the team of Engineering Leads, Application Architects, Database Administrators, backend and front-end developers on multiple projects, and Quality Assurance. This includes existing and new projects and may sometimes involve architecting and coding solutions in addition to managing his/her team.
20 Work closely with internal teams, including Account, Project Management, Creative, and User Experience, throughout the software development process.

Education
Bachelor of Science- Computer Science
Experience
• 5+ years of client-specific development experience (.NET).
• 5+ years of Web development experience including experience building data driven websites.
• 2-3 years of experience as a technical lead including managing a team of 5+ Engineering resources.
• 2-3 years of experience working in a multi-vendor environment.
• 2-3 years of experience estimating cost and effort for both new projects and maintenance with the expectation that projects will be executed profitably.
• Expert at testing and deploying web applications and ensuring Application Turnover documentation is well articulated for clients to deploy applications in production.
• Experience with front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend processes, technologies and development
• Experience with the client’s IDE (Eclipse, Microsoft TFS, etc)
• Experience delivering digital marketing sites and applications specifically dealing with the client’s line of business.
• Experience with responsive design
