AMC Networks is looking for a Paid Social Marketing Manager inside its New Digital Business Group. This dynamic group is focused on new streaming content businesses and currently operates the high-growth subscription streaming video services: Shudder, dedicated to horror, suspense and thrilling entertainment, and Sundance Now, focused on creative and high-quality films, documentaries and TV series.
Shudder and Sundance Now are the leading SVOD services in their respective categories. They offer the best in curated, exclusive and original programming and are accessible on all major streaming video platforms (web, iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, FireTV, Xbox, etc.). These services are scaling and expanding globally at an impressive rate.

Overview of Role:
The Paid Social Marketing Manager is responsible for driving customer acquisition, customer nurturing, and conversion efforts for Shudder and Sundance Now through social channels. S/he must be motivated by hitting and exceeding aggressive growth targets.
S/he must be a creative marketer but also data-driven, highly analytical, ROI-focused with a strong track record of driving meaningful growth and engagement for a direct-to-consumer online subscription product/service. S/he will know how to reach diverse audiences across multiple social channels and how to customize creative and messaging to best drive action across those different channels.
This is a position that will demand both a keen marketing sense and strong multi-tasking skills to achieve business objectives. The ideal candidate is a team player who isn’t turned off by having to get into the details, and is relentlessly passionate about growing and engaging our community of fans.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years+ experience in acquisition marketing through social channels building custom audiences and look-a-likes with large budgets
• Experience across app and web based acquisition marketing
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and experience determining strategies and test plans based on data
• Extensive experience in managing performance-based Facebook ad campaigns, as well as other paid social platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and Snapchat
• Demonstrated focus on end-to-end customer experience, increasing the likelihood that prospects become customers and customers become advocates
• Proven, successful track record of reaching customer acquisition goals while managing against aggressive CPL, CPA, and revenue goals
• Experience with direct-to-consumer marketing of an online subscription service or product is a must
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start, contribute under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Highly organized, creative and critical thinker
• Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
• Expert written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with entertainment & media is a bonus
What You'll Do
• Manage online performance-based marketing channels, with a primary focus on creating, managing, and optimizing Facebook ad campaigns
• Conceptualize and execute online and offline campaigns increase reach and engagement while also driving paid member growth
• Optimize lead conversion and develop nurturing programs to effectively keep leads warm and move them through the funnel through retargeting
• Launch and test landing pages, creative and new ideas for acquisition campaigns
• Leverage learnings from channel optimization and multivariate testing to iterate and improve acquisition efforts
• Track and report on KPIs for your owned channels
Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with the social, product, tech, creative and operations teams to ensure successful execution of marketing programs
