Responsibilities
• Dissect high-level information into details and communicate these details succinctly in a manner understood by relevant audiences.
• Influence requirements and process to effectively utilize systems and applications that support an improved customer experience.
• Propose change to policy/process when necessary in order to move forward with new designs.
• Analyze and propose solutions and other changes within the system per user /customer business needs. Analyze existing programs or formulate logic for new systems, devise logic procedures, prepare flowcharting, perform configuration, tests, and roll-outs to business users.
• Works with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, evaluate the business requirements and translate them into functional and non-functional requirements
• Key contact for preparing test cases & for testing solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and are “fit-for-purpose.” Present and validate solution with user. Create and execute test plans, log and prioritize defects.
• Participates in software estimation process, such as Agile estimation techniques
• Ability to work cross-functionally, independently or within a group
• Uses an understanding of business functions to analyze and propose technical strategies for the business. Assesses benefits, risks, and costs
• Be part of the Agile team and participate in all Agile activities (standups, planning, validations, etc.)
Qualification:
• Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering, science or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in roles such as Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or Project Manager for a technical product
• Experience with ERP and Customer Relationship Management applications, preferably SAP, Siebel, Salesforce, and other frontend consuming technologies with middleware like Tibco & APIGEE.
• Have a strong and detailed understanding of back office processes and systems in place to support Global Business Channels. On the system side, that includes SFDC, Siebel, Order Management and SAP implementations.
• On the process side this includes pricing & discounts, opportunity management, subscription, renewal business, account operations and sales.
• Experience with contract management (APPTUS, DocuSign) is strongly preferred.
• Identify and drive new improvements result in increased renewal of subscription, Channel growth, process simplification and improved ease of use for evolving new channel programs.
• Must understand the business value of engineering decisions and how they affect the life cycle of the product
• High degree of both technical expertise and business acumen, including familiarity developing new software and implications of SaaS business models
• Experience with agile software development (particularly SCRUM)
• Advanced written, verbal and presentation skills to effectively communicate with all levels of an organization both internal and customer facing.
• Ability to contribute to and champion the adoption of company direction while aligning to customer requirements.
• Able to describe solutions and issues to customers, users, leadership and technical participants who may not be familiar with the subject matter.
