Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time PeopleSoft Financials PTP Business Analyst. This position will focus on Procure-to-Pay business and application processes, part of Business Applications within IT.
We are looking for a passionate, highly communicative Business Analyst who can make a meaningful contribution to positioning Ubisoft for success. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, supporting and improving Ubisoft’s financial and accounting processes and systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as a trusted advisor on the Procure-to-Pay business and systems processes; assisting the Finance and Accounting organizations achieve their training, reporting and system usage goals.
• Lead functional process analysis and process improvement activities
• Act as a liaison between the business side of the enterprise and the various IT support teams to identify and resolve problems, assist with systems/process design, and implement best practices
• Draw upon prior business experience to provide industry best practices and insights for functional solutions
• Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects/tasks, work with business leadership on potential solutions and enable effective decision making
• Collaborate with any international team members as needed
• Communicate and mentor Support Analysts and the designated contacts within the business as to the support methodology used
• Gather, analyze and document business, organizational and/or operational requirements. Ensure that requirements are in line with Ubisoft core business values
• Prepare comprehensive test plans/test scripts and perform system/functional testing and coordinate user testing
• Collaborate with business users and establish clear, mutually understood priorities
• Simultaneously manage multiple tasks/priorities while maintaining focus on quality and timely delivery on efforts
• Facilitate system evolutions, provide reasonable estimates for efforts, and manage stakeholder expectations through changes
• Develop training plan, content, and business process documentation on solutions and deliver end user training
• Proactively provide status and feedback to the management as to the overall health of the ERP system and business process development
• Assist the Support Analysts when needed in order to aid users in troubleshooting complex issues
• On assigned tasks, manage scope, time, and quality; escalate issues and communicate status in a timely manner while leveraging Ubisoft standard templates
• Analyze support tickets with a focus on identifying and resolving root cause issues
• Participate in on-call support as needed; work on other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT-focused discipline
• 3-5 years progressive experience as a business or systems analyst in PEOPLESOFTFinancial process improvement and systems implementation
• PeopleSoft FSCM 9.0+ experience required, and 9.2 desired(PeopleSoft HCM profiles will not be considered)
• Proficiency in GL, AP, PO, eProcurement, Asset & Cash Management, financial reporting and PS Security and general audit requirements preferred;
• Solid understanding of the Procure-to-Pay business processes required
• Excellent written and oral communications—interpersonal skills a must
• Proven ability to work with all members of a team, including business, technical, and management
• Experience working with distributed teams regarding communication, project execution, and dispute resolution
• Must be extremely organized and capable of tracking, managing, and resolving many issues simultaneously
• Ability to adapt to changing work environment and manage multiple concurrent tasks
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Visio required
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases required
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose Application Designer, and core PeopleSoft tables strongly desired
• Experience with end user training strongly desired
• Experience managing projects from beginning to end desired
• Experience in a fast-paced, short manufacturing lead time environment strongly desired; preferably for retailer distribution or digital sales business models, CPG industries or a publisher like music, video, video games etc.
• Experience working across organizational boundaries on a local and global basis a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel (up to 10%)
