SUMMARY
Hulu’s Ad Operations department is seeking an Ad Platform Specialist who will be an exceptional addition to our Ad Tech and Platform Management team. As an Ad Platform Specialist at Hulu, you will be responsible for maximizing Hulu’s video ad delivery by being an expert in troubleshooting data and technical issues, ad product testing and managing vendor partnerships. WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Serve as the first point of escalation for the Ad Operations team for technical support, including ad platform bugs, discrepancies, delivery issues, and reporting errors
• Test, validate, and onboard/certify third party vendor technologies including VAST, VPAID, Viewability, HTML5, and cross-platform attribution
• Partner with the Ad Research, Legal and Ad Operations leadership teams on training and rollout of new vendor technologies
• Manage proxy and debugging tools to validate and troubleshoot ad functionality cross-platform, specifically for mobile/tablet/connected TV environments
• Support cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Ad Product, Integrated Marketing, Ad Research and Creative Services to plan and launch new products on time, and on spec
• Collect and compile platform feature requests, document use cases, and work with Ad Ops management to determine priority
• Draft test cases and perform user acceptance testing for new features/functionality prior to release; alternatively, automate QA testing
• Create documentation and process required for new features/functionality for products, systems, and improved efficiencies
• Identify necessary reports, metrics, benchmarks, and analysis to measure the effectiveness and validate the success of ad products.
• Provide troubleshooting support for Advanced TV programmatic deals when needed
WHAT TO BRING
• A minimum of 3-4 years working in a digital advertising capacity, with a focus on ad technology, ad systems, or ad product
• Strong understanding of video ad serving formats such as VAST, VPAID
• Experience stewarding multiple 3rd party vendor relationships concurrently
• Familiarity with digital advertising standards and best practices
• Experience with multi-platform debugging and proxy tools
• Prior experience in managing/participating in multi-departmental work groups
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Strong Excel user
• Experience with JIRA and other project management tools.
• Bachelor's Degree
