Senior Account Executive – Millennial Focus
Cumulus | Kansas Cityis searching for an exceptional individual to join us as a Senior Account Executive – Millennial Focus. This Senior Sales position is a unique opportunity to be a part of a new high-energy team focused on our explosive-growth Millennial-focused stations: CHR 95.7 The Vibe and Alternative KCJK X105.1.
Combined with market-exclusive digital assets within our C-Suite array of products, this position is ideally suited if your sales background highlights a successful track record and reputation as one of the “best” in the advertising sales solutions including integrated, idea-based programs utilizing on-air, on-site, and digital components. Completing the lineup in this market-leading cluster: #1 ranked 101 The Fox, KCFX, 28-year flagship of Chiefs Radio Network, 94.9 KCMO-FM Classic Hits, and 103.7/710 KCMO Talk Radio, Urban A/C Magic 107.3, and heritage 102.5 Jack-FM.
Job Responsibilities / Skills:

• Develops creative, effective, and persuasive proposals to meet needs and opportunities
• Maintains client communication and ensures client satisfaction
• Follows all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts and competitive analysis
• Generates revenue and meets/exceeds established sales targets
• Strong business acumen and understanding of lead generation, CRM, account/business development
• Must be high energy with strong goal orientation and ability to deliver results for clients and achieve revenue goals
Experience:
• 1-2 years’ outside sales experience
• Experience in Media/Advertising Sales with steady career progression as a top sales performer, preferably in similar format
• Ideal background a successful track record and reputation as one of the “best” in the advertising sales solutions including integrated, idea-based programs utilizing on-air, on-site, and digital components
• SalesForce or similar CRM system experience is a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms preferred
• 4-year college degree preferred
