General Summary:
We are looking for Compensation Analyst to support our Corporate Office. This role reports to the Director – Compensation. The ideal candidate will have exceptional Excel–based quantitative modeling skills and have experience in salary and short-term incentive administration. The Compensation Analyst serves as an internal resource to HR and line management regarding compensation policy and pay practices.
Job Responsibilities:
• Performs compensation plan analysis and financial modeling in Excel
• Conducts job analysis, monitors federal/state regulations, and leads review of exemption and job level assessments
• Administers year-end compensation processes including, but not limited to merit and incentive award distribution
• Participates in compensation surveys, analyzes results and trends, provides recommendations to ensure market competitiveness.
• Conducts market review analyses to evaluate company’s market competitiveness
• Provides analytical support, consulting and guidance to HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition team on salary and compensation packages.
• Supports equity plan administration and is key contact with the company’s 3rd party recordkeeper with exposure to executive compensation
• Familiarity with HRIS (Workday) ensures data integrity and conducts frequent plan assignment audits
• Leverage data to identify and present insights on Total Rewards program
• Work on multiple compensation projects
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance, CCP desirable
• Minimum 5+ years in Human Resources with progressive experience in compensation administration
• Strong Microsoft Office knowledge with advanced skills in Excel, Word and Access
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities with attention to detail with strong Business/Financial acumen
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain flexibility
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to compensation
• Familiarity with HRIS functionality (Workday exp, a plus)
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills to review, analyze and interpret data to draw conclusions and make recommendations
• Team player with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
