About Memphis:
A sports-obsessed region with a strong cultural identity, growing foodie scene and excellent musical roots, Memphis is a great news town. For three consecutive months, The CA has ranked second in the closely-watched comScore ranking, trailing only WREG-Channel 3. The CA was among Gannett’s leaders in video growth over the last year, but we think there’s upside for audience to grow much further. The digital strategist will report to Memphis’ Executive Editor, with a dotted line to the Digital Optimization Team leader, and work on such projects as MLK50, which in 2018 will commemorate the 50thanniversary of the April 4, 1968, slaying of the Rev. Martin Luther King in Memphis.
