JOB SUMMARY
Spectrum Enterprise is seeking an experienced Internal B2B Writer/Editor who will apply strong written and oral communications skills to craft extremely high quality internal marketing communications for the enterprise brand.
Collaborating with the extended brand team and executive leadership, this individual will help build out internal communications, including executive communications, to help differentiate and tell the evolving brand story.
The individual will also play a role in establishing consistent governance and process to ensure compliance with the enterprise brand.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Actively and consistently support all internal efforts to elevate the Spectrum Enterprise brand.
Responsible for creating internal content for multiple uses such as blog posts, keynotes, sales presentations, and other communications materials that help express brand values in relevant terms.
Collaborate closely with Director of Editorial Marketing to develop integrated internal communications tied to key narratives and storylines.
Develop internal brand communications that demonstrate strategic thinking, knowledge of the industry, and creativity in a timely and effective manner.
Facilitate brand governance for the evolving enterprise brand by promoting and enforcing standards and guidelines. This includes support for a brand council to preserve the integrity and quality of brand messaging across the organization and alignment of the integrated marketing communications calendar to defined priorities.
Assists senior leadership with their role in meetings, including key message points and presentation materials.
Command the respect of executives by developing excellent internal and executive communications to compelling convey the story and narratives around our evolving brand.
Keeps abreast of industry competitive framework.
Performs other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
10+ years of internal communications experience, within a high tech industry focused on enterprise
Superior writing, editing, oral skills
Ability to interact effectively and command respect with executives
Ability to communicate with various levels of management and company personnel
Experience with creating and enforcing brand guidelines and standards
Great project management skills
Ability to pivot quickly and execute rapidly in a matrixed, evolving, ever changing environment
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft Word & Excel)
Ability to attend to detail
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Education
Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing or other related field
Related Work Experience Number Of Years
B2B Communications experience 8-10
High tech industry experience required 5-8
Executive Comms experience required 8-10
WORKING CONDITIONS
Corporate Headquarters office environment
Some travel may be required
