We are looking for a Media Buyer to join our Boston Mediahub team.
A Mediahub Media Buyer exhibits strategic and creative media thinking that reflects client objectives and knowledge of the local marketplace. He/she takes pride in their work and takes ownership of their assigned markets. The Media Buyer is detail oriented, performs multiple tasks correctly and efficiently, and meets time-sensitive deadlines. The Media Buyer has a facility with numbers, is extremely accurate, and has a sense of budget management. He/she understands the balance between working independently and seeking help from his/her supervisor.
Additionally, the Media Buyer candidate needs to have an eye for detail, aptitude for analysis, and the ability to work with a team as well as individually. Endless curiosity and a positive attitude are also musts. He/she must be a creative thinker, incorporating the latest media trends and innovations, including streaming audio and online video. It's imperative to follow technology; creative work to stay on top of pertinent information and trends. He/she will be required to attend sessions of formal media training and other programs as directed by his/her supervisor. They will develop an understanding of the role of his/her department within the agency and show commitment to personal and professional growth.
requirements
• Four year degree required.
• Solid math and computer skills.
• The ability to utilize multiple buying software programs including Donovan Data Systems.
