We’re looking for the next generation of talented undergraduates to join our team for an unforgettable 10 week internship. Bringing the latest educational products and services to market is a highly collaborative process that requires a diverse range of skills and disciplines - from UX and engineering to marketing and managing rights and royalties.
As one of our interns you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team and work on real life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the ten week program.

Team: Program and Change Management
Title: Intern, Program and Change Management
Reports to: Director, Program and Change Management
The Program and Change Management team, situated within Pearson’s Portfolio Planning & Strategy (PS&P) group, as part of the Global Product (GP) Organization, owns holistic program and change planning, execution, and best-practices across PS&P.
We do this by:
• Remaining aligned with Senior Management, both internal and external to PS&P, to identify strategic projects, initiatives, and pro that require near-term additional support and then take a lead role in ensuring delivery;
• Actively managing stakeholder engagement and action plans, as well as risks and issues associated with large-scale transformative and high-strategic programs that drive Pearson’s strategic vision and growth;
• Serving as a center-of-excellence and advocate for best practices in program and change management.
Role Description:
Working under the direction of the Director, Program and Change Management, the Intern will support a wide-variety of program and change management efforts across PS&P. In this high-exposure role, you will have the opportunity to not only learn, but practice a great deal about program and change management, while expanding your knowledge of product strategy.

Qualifications:
• Students with graduation dates between 2018 and 2019
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; strong knowledge of Google Docs a plus
• Working knowledge of one or more project management frameworks
◦ CAPM/PMP a plus
• Change management expertise or exposure a plus
• Can demonstrate a time when you lead a program, project, or change program (from your prior work, school, or personal life)
• Prior experience in education industry a plus, but not required
What Does the Internship Program Offer?
Successful candidates will spend 10 weeks working with our product and technology teams.
As one of our interns you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team and work on real life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will receive coaching and mentoring to help you make the most of the ten week program.
You’ll be paid for the duration of your internship. The internship begins on Monday June 4 and ends Friday August 17.
