We’re looking for the next generation of talented undergraduates to join our team for an unforgettable 10 week internship. Bringing the latest educational products and services to market is a highly collaborative process that requires a diverse range of skills and disciplines - from UX and engineering to marketing and managing rights and royalties.
As one of our interns you will gain a comprehensive introduction to our business. You’ll be assigned to a team and work on real life projects that bring our products and services to life. On the job training and professional development will be provided to enable you to contribute to the business. You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will be mentored to help you make the most of the ten week program.

The Web UI Developer Intern is responsible for analysis, design, implementation, and unit testing of integrated software products to produce high-quality code for a technology organization responsible for providing a dashboard for instructors to create courses and for students to launch their courses. To do so you will have an opportunity to use industry best practices while working in a team of high-performing professionals. You are also responsible for maintaining and supporting mission-critical applications as necessary while contributing to team process improvements. As part of the software development internship will partner with a technology mentor to help you continue to grow, learn and contribute.
The Web UI Developer Intern will:
• Participate in scrum activities like backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-up, retrospectives and reviews.
• Implement entire stories or subset of tasks or fix defects as part of an agile development team using React, Redux, and Node.js
• Document and escalate defects per standard processes
Qualifications
Required Education & Services:
• Completion of at least Sophomore level coursework (Junior level strongly preferred) leading towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or closely related field
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (JavaScript strongly preferred)
Desired Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Desire to learn and expand knowledge in development languages, applications, and tools
• Intellectual horsepower and proven ability to quickly learn new processes and tools, business domains and technical applications
• Strong Written and Verbal skills to communicate with clarity and brevity to other professionals, including software developers, program management, product management, business analysts etc
What Does the Internship Program Offer?
Successful candidates will spend 10 weeks working with our product and technology teams.

You’ll also have direct access to a senior member of the team, as each intern will receive coaching and mentoring to help you make the most of the ten week program.
You’ll be paid for the duration of your internship. The internship begins on Monday June 4 and ends Friday August 17.
