Front End / HTML5 Banner Developer
We are looking for a Front End/HTML5 Banner Developer to join our Los Angeles Digital Production team.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to combine their passion for animation and design with the latest front-end technologies. Working closely with creative directors, designers, and digital producers, you will be creating cutting-edge animations and helping to push the boundaries of what we can do. You will also have the opportunity to work with full-stack technologies such as Node.js, React/Flux, Gulp, and Sass, building internal tools as well as prototyping with the lead creative technologist.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with creative teams to create stunning HTML5 animations, rich media/dynamic experiences, and user interfaces.
• Work with the lead creative technologist on front-end applications, prototypes, and internal tools using technologies such as Node.js, React/Flux, Gulp, and Sass.
• Contribute to creative meetings by discussing the design and development of interactive campaigns and ensuring feasibility.
• Optimize code for efficiency as well as cross-browser support.
• Communicate with project leads and producers to discuss project timelines and estimates.
Requirements:
• Four-year degree or equivalent.
• Five years of experience working with an agency (in house or freelance).
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience developing dynamic banners in ad-serving platforms such as FlashTalking and/or Google/DoubleClick (DCM).
• Experience working with rich media banners or in-banner video and data-passing.
• Basic understanding of the GreenSock animation library.
• Basic understanding of code versioning (Git).
• Basic Adobe Creative Suite experience (Photoshop and Illustrator).
Nice-to-Haves:
• Interest in full-stack technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, React/Flux, Sass, and Gulp.
• Eagerness to discover the newest web technologies and share them with the team.
• Good understanding of UX/UI design principles.
• Any extracurricular work/passion projects.
