About the Team
The Marketing Solutions team partners with sales to provide clients with creative and strategic solutions by leveraging all iHeartMedia assets
Key Responsibilities
• Write brand-appropriate, creative pieces in a variety of mediums; both online and offline (i.e. sales materials, B2B websites, Client proposals) that position and sell various iHeartMedia radio, digital and experiential assets
• Create program names, write compelling headlines and editorial and promotional copy for sales programs and initiatives
• Maintain the brand tone of voice across multiple channels, ensuring consistent accuracy and messaging
• Use your solid understanding of the sales environment and the different copy and design needs for different audiences to create the right materials per audience (Media Agency, Creative Agency, Client, Sponsorship Agencies, B2B, etc.)
• Create materials for specific audiences (Media Agency, Creative Agency, Client, Sponsorship Agencies, B2B, etc.)
• Implement feedback from senior members of the team, making sure final copy is proofread and applied correctly
• Work closely with design team to ideate and articulate design needs to best illustrate copy (iconography, illustration, simple PPT, user flows, etc.)
• Incorporate feedback, comments and changes from senior copy team and cross functional partners while adhering to timelines and deadlines.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
• Able to work efficiently to tight deadlines, juggling numerous projects at once, and proactively sourcing the relevant information from key stakeholders.
• Highly adaptable: You will be expected to plug into various teams that are run differently and have completely different staffs, so you should be highly adaptable and quick to learn processes.
• Open to change: Keeping in mind that this content has goals related to audience and revenue, you need to be mindful and aware of what is working and what is not.
• Experience in and understanding of the ad sales environment
• Comfortable and confident working creatively and collaboratively with various teams across the business
• A creative mind who enjoys contributing ideas and creating strong engaging content across all channels.
• Keeps up to date with popular culture and trends to keep iHeartMedia ahead of the competition
• Knowledge of how copy relates to art, design and graphics
• Excellent writing, editing and grammar skills
• Proficiency in some or all the following programs: Adobe InDesign, Quark, InCopy, Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet applications
