Associate Ad Services Director
Job Summary:
The Associate Ad Services Director is an internally-facing role that focuses on providing team support. This person must be able to multi-task, problem-solve, manage multiple timelines and work across functions on occasion. They need to perform tasks effectively and with minimal supervision, develop collaborative relationships, communicate clearly and act proactively. Over time, he/she learns SapientRazorfish's business, how we service clients, the importance of data and report creation, and operations process and procedure, all with an eye towards stepping into a client facing role.
This position is designed for someone with 5-7 years of work experience providing support to Technical Account Managers (TAM) and Ad Services Supervisors. Strong client service skills, an aptitude for technology, and a passion to succeed in digital marketing are keys to job satisfaction.
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Education in web development, internet and/or traditional marketing preferred.
Experience
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in digital technology, advertising, public relations or marketing.
Milestones
• Has shown proficiency with regular deliverables and ad hoc requests.
• Has established a history of executing tasks flawlessly while exhibiting strong client service.
• Has proven themselves to be a team player and collaborator.
• Has consistently exhibited ownership of detailed and often time-sensitive tasks.
• Has demonstrated the ability to transition to an external client-facing position over time.
Skills & Responsibilities
Internal Client Service
• Collaborates with team to support client deliverable deadlines, working on assigned projects as needed.
• Owns/prioritizes and complete team or client projects on time, updating relevant team members as necessary.
• Understands the internal goals of the team, and the goals of the client Special projects as assigned by manager.
Campaign Management
• Owns creative quality assurance including testing functionality and setting up advertising campaigns.
• Support Technical Account Managers and assist in campaign executions.
• Test creative prior to campaign launch to ensure that they function properly, utilizing programs including, but not limited to, DCM, Sizmek, Atlas, FlashTalking, DFP.
• QA and reconcile creative with Media Plan.
• Assist creative process including reviewing creative executions for adherence to publisher specs.
• Floodlight/Action Tag creation and QA prior to campaign launch.
• Upload/create creative & ads.
• Ad assignments and trafficking.
• Update to weighting or URLs.
• Trafficking ad materials to publishers and/or rich media vendors.
• Placement QA to confirm everything has been trafficked.
• Run Delivery QA report and notify TAM of any delays.
• Execute creative and/or placement optimization.
• Modification of rich media creative for proper tracking and ad serving.
• QA and troubleshooting advertising campaigns - Daily maintenance including actively finding errors/discrepancies and correcting them.
• Identify opportunities for ad server improvements.
Required Knowledge/Experience
• Interest in web design/programming: Flash, HTML, JavaScript.
• Very detail oriented.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment.
• Strong client-service orientation.
• Desire to work in online marketing.
• Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Flexible to evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.
