Job Summary
Responsible for administering, organizing and coordinating all phases of company training and other professional development programs for employees.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
Coordinate annual training schedule, including course selection, facilitator(s), and location
Prepare program invitations and other written communications
Schedule the appropriate classroom and/or facility and prepare the physical setup; coordinate with vendors for catering, materials, and other services in support of program delivery
Research external training programs
Purchase training materials (e.g., books, prizes)
Coordinate travel and lodging schedules and reservations for participants; contact and make arrangements with hotels, vendors, and office management
Prepare and distribute training aids such as instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms, and visual aids; sets up audiovisual equipment
Compile training evaluations; gather data and prepare written communications
Act as back up for LMS Administrator for Learning Management System
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to develop effective working relationships with peers, vendors, management, etc.
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person, on the phone, and by written communications in a clear, straight-forward, and professional manner
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Ability to work independently
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy with repetitive tasks.
Customer service skills
Knowledge and ability to use the following office equipment computer, telephone, copier, fax, calculator, and stapler
Knowledge of cable television products and services
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Related Work Experience Number Of Years
Administrative experience including use of MS Office products 2
