Summary
The HRIS Analyst will enjoy a dynamic and challenging environment with an engaged and energized team, located at our Yelp Headquarters in San Francisco. This person will have an in-depth knowledge of our HR business processes and systems to provide outstanding support of our HCM system, Workday.
Responsibilities:
• Identify opportunities to optimize and automate HR processes and leverage system functionality, recommending system solutions that meet business needs
• Implement and enhance Workday configuration to ensure that solution designs are in line with security, scalability, and best practices
• Partner with internal HR Operations team to help troubleshoot and resolve escalated support (JIRA) tickets from various business units, escalating to HR Tech as needed
• Perform system testing and quality assurance for Workday releases, enhancements and new module implementations; coordinate testing activities between several departments
• As Workday Security Administrator, assign roles in accordance with security matrix guidelines
• Create, maintain, and schedule Workday reports, including the creation of calculated fields, notifications, and alerts as requested across business units
• Audit, generate, and support mass EIB loads into Workday
• Resolve data and process issues related to Workday integrations with other systems
• Enhance partnership with HR and other internal teams via collaboration, education and knowledge sharing
• Support the design and implementation of proper internal controls of HR systems for SOX and other compliance requirements
Requirements:
• 2+ years of Workday configuration experience required
• Experience with other HR systems is a plus
• 2-4 years of HRIS, Business Analyst and/or System Development experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Solid knowledge of Workday tools such as Reporting, Security, EIBs and Business Process Configuration
• Experience with Workday HCM and at least one other functional area: Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation or Talent
• Strong knowledge of Excel, including use of VLOOKUP, pivot tables and data validation using Excel
• Experience supporting functional processes and technical design
• Knowledge of HRIS / Human Resources standards and practices
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to analyze and interpret HR and related data
• Ability to work independently, but also work as part of a collaborative team
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to develop solutions to problems using expertise, creativity and sound judgment
• High ethical standards with experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information
