JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Manager, Marketing & Creative Strategy-is responsible for the strategic development, oversight and execution of effective advertising strategies and tactics to drive company growth. Manage advertising campaigns and projects from inception to completion, including post campaign analysis and summary report. This position is also tasked with managing programs to positively impact consumer/customer perception of Charter's brand. Emphasis is on improving the development of new customer relationships, and reinforcing benefits to maximize up-sell and retention.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Create marketing plans for specific campaigns in collaboration with cross-functional teams, and successfully manage the execution of those plans.
Deliver product messaging for go-to-market activities, including the emotional value proposition for new products.
Contribute creative strategy for television creative development and production for a variety of areas:
Brand, Product, Education and Retail.
Lead work with outside ad agencies to develop, coordinate and implement enterprise-wide marketing campaigns and promotions.
Perform other duties as required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Must possess exceptional written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback in a constructive way.
• Experience in developing Television commercials for the following purposes: Acquisition, Upgrade/Cross-Sell/Up-sell, Retention, Education and Brand Awareness.
• Must possess a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint and all Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess advanced knowledge of marketing principals
• Prior experience managing the relationship with outside agencies.
• Ability to efficiently manage resources and budgets
• Ability to prioritize tasks and think creatively, strategically and critically
• Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and vendors.
• Ability to manage and motivate team members
• Flawless attention to detail is paramount.
• A keen eye for design and aesthetic, appreciation for music and a sharp wit is preferred.
Education
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field..
Related Work Experience
• 7+ years marketing and/or advertising experience in consumer technology or service industries
• 4+ years managing major advertising campaigns
• Experience in TV commercial creative development and production, including Brand, Product, Education and Retail.
• Experience managing Marketing projects
• Cable TV experience preferred
