Job Summary:
Develops new and enhances or maintains existing software components.

The Senior Developer is someone who can quickly create innovative solutions to business challenges. The best candidate will possess a wide array of technical skills and knowledge and will use their experience to choose the best platform for the problem. Should this be a Drupal based website, or a SharePoint Portal? A SalesForce workflow and form, or a custom C# .NET app?
The Senior Developer will work on a wide variety of platforms and tools, while working closely with business leaders with rapid iterations in a fast-changing environment. The Senior Developer will also coach and oversee the other developers on the team.
This position requires a self-motivated and organized professional with at least 4 years development experience. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and can create an application using a wide array of technologies. The candidate should be ambitious, competitive and creative. Must be capable of working in a relaxed, but fast-paced environment. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to collaborate and pay strong attention to detail.
A degree is not required, but a passion for technology is a must.
As a Senior Developer, you will:
• Quickly build cutting edge applications on a variety of platforms.
• Have conversations with business partners, distill requests to technical requirements and then build a solution.
• Be a full stack developer, setting up all infrastructure needed to develop and deploy your application, from hosting setup, to databases, and then the user interface.
• The best candidate will possess a wide array of technical skills and knowledge and will use their experience to choose the best platform for the problem.
• Develop and drive attainment of our key success metrics and KPI’s. This role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure consistently accurate recording and reporting of results to executive stakeholders.
• Play a leadership role on the team, assisting team members with obstacles/challenges.
• Proactively identify, circumvent, avoid and or resolve issues and problems that have an adverse impact on projects.
• Lead and facilitate meetings with clear agendas, action items, and outcomes.
• Work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Collaborate with technical and operational peers across iHeartMedia to ensure that our technical direction and approach aligns vertically throughout the technology stack.
• Keep abreast of industry standards and ensure we are driving those that are important to us and aligned with others as appropriate.
• Ensure high levels of operational discipline and high availability for advertising systems.
• Perpetuate a data-driven culture with high standards of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Information Technology, or equivalent working experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a development role.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills, either in .NET C# MVC or in PHP.
• Database design and development (MySQL or MS SQL).
• Sharepoint or Drupal CMS experience preferred.
• Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, with an attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
