AMC Networks is looking for a Marketing and Publicity Manager inside its New Digital Business Group. This dynamic group is focused on new streaming content businesses and currently operates the high-growth subscription streaming video services: Shudder, dedicated to horror, suspense and thrilling entertainment, and Sundance Now, focused on creative and high-quality films, documentaries and original series.
Shudder and Sundance Now are the leading SVOD services in their respective categories. They offer the best in curated, exclusive and original programming and are accessible on all major streaming video platforms (web, iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, FireTV, Xbox, etc.). These services are scaling and expanding globally at an impressive rate.

Overview of Role:
The Marketing and Publicity Manager is responsible for developing and launching impactful campaigns for a small number of first-run films and series for both Shudder and Sundance Now that build brand awareness and drive customer acquisition for Shudder and Sundance Now.
This is a position that will demand both a keen marketing sense and strong multi-tasking skills to strategy, plan and execute creative content launches.
The ideal candidate loves to reimagine what a premium content launch campaign can be in today’s digital world. S/he is eager to roll up his/her sleeves to get into the details, and is able to make quick and wise decisions based on creative and business judgment even when faced with ambiguity. He/she doesn't fall back on traditional PR 101 tactics and is able to think strategically on ways to promote new programming that best serves our business goals.
What You'll Do
• Play a key role in strategizing, executing and managing content marketing campaigns for premium content for both Shudder and Sundance Now
• Collaborate and strategize with internal marketing teams to leverage owned and operated channels
• Manage PR and activation agencies, as well as a team of campaign managers and coordinators responsible for flawless and impactful premium content launches
• Focus on creating cultural moments and targeted impact campaigns, and explore new tactics of promoting content
Qualifications:
• 5+ years experience digital entertainment experience
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of publicity campaigns for content launches
• Proven track record of innovative, out-of-the box, successful content launches
• Experience working with influencers
• Experience working with small campaign budgets
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured and dynamic environment
