Overall purpose of position:
Process payroll for multiple Gannett sites while supporting the sites for payroll related issues. Collaborate closely with Payroll team in ensuring paychecks, earnings and deductions are accurate. Maintain, audit, correct, update, create, secure and archive employee payroll records and files. Train new hires on payroll systems and processes. Provide information to employees and managers on payroll matters. Prepare and submit monthly reports and payments. Manage leave requests in accordance with applicable federal and state laws. Assist in other functions of the HR department such as workers compensation, associate relations, labor relations, training, compensation and benefits, and record keeping. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of associates. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.

• Entry of misc payments in the Dayforce application
• Detailed review of employee pay

Knowledge of Dayforce Payroll Application
