Learning Designer and Facilitator

We are a small but mighty team of learning professionals who are dedicated to helping Airbnb achieve its mission of Belong Anywhere - by focusing on learning initiatives that are highly customized to Airbnb’s culture and mission objectives.
You’re excited about this opportunity because you will...
• Work with Talent Partners, Talent Design, Business Leaders and Employees to understand the needs of Airbnb.
• Demonstrate your skills for partnering cross-departmentally by listening, partnering, consulting, and delivering on the organization’s greatest needs.
• Use your deep knowledge of how people learn and grow to design and lead innovative, and even radical strategies and programs for employees in an incredibly demanding and fast-paced environment.
• Take big and complex ideas and turn them into practical, culturally relevant solutions that quickly gain acceptance in the business.
• Craft innovative learning experiences to enable behavior change
• Set the bar for what extraordinary facilitation looks like - taking group dynamics, individuals’ personalities and Airbnb’s needs into account as you expertly teach in small and large group settings, and provide one-on-one coaching.
• Work closely with others within the Learning team to leverage one another’s greatest strengths and deliver on the needs of our stakeholders.
• Get things done through co-creation, inviting discussion and debate, and leveraging those ideas back into the solution to make decisions for the business, people and culture of Airbnb.
• Learn through talented, smart and kind people, who come to work everyday championing and embodying the mission, values and culture of Airbnb.
Minimum requirements
• 10+ years in Learning & Development or a related field
• Strong consulting and relationship management skills
• Deep expertise in leadership, team, and professional skills development.
• Demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise way
• Experience creating comprehensive L&D plans that influence and measure behavioral change
• Proven ability to partner and make decisions across multiple stakeholders
• Insatiable curiosity
• Realistic expectations about the opportunities and challenges inherent in a hyper growth environment
• Experience designing for blended, flipped and spaced learning experiences
• A desire to both think broadly and systemically and also design and execute
• Excellent teaming skills
• Passion for Airbnb’s mission
