Our mission is to facilitate high quality recording experiences for talent on behalf of Spotify across the globe. Supporting the strategic objectives of the Content & Creator Organization, our team will oversee production of Spotify Singles, Original Podcasts and any other special content opportunities that require a recording studio.
What You’ll Do:
• Maintain & schedule inbound opportunities for Spotify Singles and other Audio Originals
• Facilitate communication between all stakeholders involved in recording, releasing, and promoting Spotify Singles
• Prepare & send legal recording agreements between Spotify and record labels
• Book various vendors for recording sessions & other productions
• Ensure the ingestion of Spotify Singles has correct metadata and release information
• Support the wider Content Organization by establishing a process whereby multiple types of content can be captured with an artist
• Prepare and execute budgets for recording sessions & other productions
• Build artist itineraries to be shared with label & management teams
• Produce marketing & promotional campaign recaps
• Maintain KPI’s for Spotify Singles to ensure they align with other company goals
• Understand the entertainment & content space with a strong grasp of what’s hot, what’s trending, and how this fits into the Spotify brand narrative
• Continually work to maintain and improve Spotify’s relationships within the artist, management, label and publicity communities
• Manage travel and administrative needs of Associate Director of Artist Projects
Who You Are:
• Minimum 2 years of music industry/celebrity experience
• Experience in managing development, design, video production, and post- production process with a meticulous eye for detail, while direct multiple cross- functional and cross-disciplinary teams
• The ability to work with teams internally and externally from ideation to production
• Attention to detail is a must
• Impeccable social, oral communication, and written skills, including the ability to communicate and collaborate with all types of personalities and levels of people
• Facilitator and collaborator with a positive attitude
• Ability to negotiate win/win solutions and problem solve under pressure
• Advanced MS Office skills, most importantly Keynote and/or PowerPoint.
• Must be willing to travel extensively, often with short advance notice
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
