Social Media Manager, Conde Nast Traveler
Condé Nast Traveler is seeking an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to manage and optimize content for the digital team. This role is responsible for managing day to day content on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and video, including optimizing content and writing trending news pieces throughout the day to engage audiences across Condé Nast Traveler’s digital platforms.
Along with a passion for storytelling and attention to detail, the candidate must have in-depth social media experience both personally and professionally. The role is intended for someone with strong writing skills, knowledge of analytical tools, and enthusiasm about joining a fast-paced, agile team.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day posting, editing and optimization of content on multiple social media platforms
• Master Condé Nast Traveler’s editorial voice
• Contribute and write trending stories with a keen eye on the evolving social media landscape
• Assist with management of Facebook Live and video pitches, creation, and postings
• Report on content performance and social media trends and best practices
• Make daily recommendations to the editorial team
Requirements:
• A minimum requirement of 2-3 years of social media or fast-paced editorial background
• Enthusiastic and excited about social media
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Must give writing samples and complete an edit test
• Basic understanding of analytics and experience optimizing content
• Strong editorial judgment
• Provide social media handles
• Excellent organizational skills, focus, and attention to detail
• An enthusiastic work ethic
• An established ability to synthesize and communicate information quickly
