Job Summary:
iHeartMedia’s National Programming Group has a National Entertainment Manager position open within the National Entertainment + Events Team. This team produces and executes over 100+ events nationally per year, including iHeartMedia’s marquee events like the iHeartRadio Music Festival, iHeartRadio Fiesta Latina, iHeartRadio Summer Weekend, 12-city iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour, iHeartCountry Festival, and more! The team also oversees various business-to-business events including the Cannes Lions Festival, CES, UM Summit, and internal summits, dinners, presentations and conferences.
The National Entertainment Manager is an integral part of this department, assisting and managing ticketing for our marquee events as well as assisting and supporting various events throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
• Report to Director, National Entertainment
• Manage and oversee the ticketing for all iHeartMedia marquee events
• Solicit and track company-wide ticket requests and inventory
• Work closely on event pricing, scaling and overall ticket revenue
• Set up and execute all event pre-sales and on-sales
• Gather, organize, and distribute ticketing information to key personnel both internally and externally
• Work closely with venue box offices on setting up each event and leading communication through till show date
• Manage ticket timeline with various internal divisions
• Handle seating for all of iHeartMedia, working side by side with key executives on planning and approval
• Manage printing, sorting, shipping and distribution of physical tickets
• Assist with consumer event activations nationwide, as needed
• Work concerts and meetings taking place in the iHeartRadio Theater NY and the iHeartMedia Midtown office, as needed
• Travel to out-of-state events as needed such as iHeartRadio ticketed events, B2B events, conferences, and corporate meetings
Job Qualifications & Experience
• 2-3+ years of special events and promotions experience, preferably in entertainment
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task
• Very high work standards and attention to detail
• Excellent organization skills
• Excellent communication with ability to
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Drive
• Calm under pressure
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills and collaboration with others
