In Human Resources, we are looking for future-minded associates with a proven record of organization and prioritization to promote our exciting and challenging work environment while helping to achieve the goals of the organization. We’re currently seeking a Coordinator to provide administrative support for our University Relations team in the areas of recruiting.
Essential functions for this role include:
• Coordinate interview scheduling and handle all aspects of travel coordination for candidates seeking employment with Garmin and its subsidiaries
• Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to provide candidate with information and communicate interview and schedule details for each candidate interviewing with Garmin
• Assist with screening candidates, processing applications, scanning, and attaching candidate information in Garmin's candidate tracking system (Taleo) and submitting that information to the appropriate recruiter
• Assist with recruitment activities such as attending career fairs and campus recruiting events, coordinating on-site interviews, reference checking, and other tasks requested by Recruiters
• Assist with creating and distributing rejection letters to candidates that are not of interest through Taleo
• Assist recruiters with ensuring that candidate related notes from recruiters and managers are attached to the candidate's application/profile and candidate status is appropriately updated in Taleo
• Maintain and update job postings internally and externally as requested by the recruiters, including maintenance of the document detailing all Garmin job opportunities
• Assist with creation and sending of offer letters to candidates following approval from the recruiter
• Create and send reimbursement letters to candidates following recruiter approval
• Assist as needed with scheduling HR associate travel
• Responsible for registering for and scheduling job fairs and other recruitment events, including scheduling catering, packing and shipping materials and booths as needed
• Assist with developing recruitment related event publicity and working with Marketing Communications to ensure it is produced, printed, and delivered in a timely manner
• Process candidate and employee relocation expense reimbursements
• Conduct research related to relocation
• Update relocation and recruitment correspondence
• Assist Recruiters and recruitment managers with other miscellaneous recruitment tasks as requested
• Responsible for coordinating temporary employees as needed
• Perform administrative duties such as correspondence, reports, forms and letters, filing, typing, copying, and faxing
Other responsibilities for this role include:
• Assist with handling confidential HR matters as needed
• Assist with New Employee Orientation and other training sessions as needed
• Accept and complete projects and other miscellaneous Human Resources duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified candidates for this role will possess the following education, experience and skills:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years administrative experience in an HR environment and/or related experience
• Must have proven experience dealing with confidential matters
• Proficient computer skills in Outlook, Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
• Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Must be detail-oriented
Desirable qualifications include:
• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field
• Proficient computer skills in PowerPoint
• Experience with administering relocation programs
• Experience working with Taleo
