Summary
The Marketing Operations Specialist lives at the heart of Yelp’s Marketing Department, providing the support and organizational tools this large, mostly-remote team needs to get the job done. Your efforts will make us more efficient and assist a creative and driven team that spans the United States and Canada. This role is based out of Yelp HQ in San Francisco.
In this dynamic position you’ll be working with people from numerous teams including Product, HR, IT, Corp Sec, Creative and more. On our tiny-but-mighty team we get products built, maintain the knowledge base, manage communications, manage metrics, coordinate summit meetings, and do everything in between. We keep the gears turning… the glue that holds it all together. Think you have what it takes?
Responsibilities include:
• Providing technical & product support for a remote team
• Working with Product Management on development of internal tools, providing feedback from the team and reporting on bugs
• Tracking key team metrics, and assisting with reporting
• Organizing, drafting and maintaining a knowledge base for the Marketing Department, as well as a significant amount of internal documentation
• Building and maintaining training LMS resource
• Scaling communication of best practices and procedures to a remote team
• Streamlining internal communications within and across departments
• Managing high volume of team correspondence
Requirements:
• You must love Yelp - full stop. We live at the heart of the team that builds community, and our enthusiasm for connecting consumers with great local businesses knows no bounds.
• Experience and familiarity with Yelp’s website and mobile apps.
• Experience with GSuite required (especially Forms, Sheets and Docs), bonus points for experience with Confluence, Jira, Tableau and MailChimp.
• 1+ Years experience working in a corporate support, logistics, or operations capacity.
• Strong organization skills a must.
• Strong communication skills - ability to communicate effectively across teams.
• Attention to detail.
• Self-starter - ability to work independently.
• Strong writing skills.
• BA or BS required.
