I. Job Summary | Major goals and objectives.
The Entertainment News Producer researches, writes, formats, coordinates and booths live broadcast of the MORE lifestyle/entertainment program in Las Vegas. This position provides editorial and production direction to field crews regarding content, coordination and production execution. The Producer must be familiar with producing “live” newscasts or “live” lifestyle/entertainment programs. In addition, the Producer:
• Coordinates efforts of Reporters, Editors, Photographers and other staff toward crafting a compelling show.
• Develops day-to-day on-air look of the show to attract the largest available audience to the MORE Show.
II. Essential Job Functions

65% Previews material before taping. Writes, edits and researches show elements. Prepares interview segments. Coordinates stories. Selects graphics and pre-production elements. Proof reads scripts. Line Produces show.
15% Collaborates with sales department, reporters and photographers to determine the content of shows. Participates in story planning meetings. Coordinates shoots with clients.
5% Times the show while on production, meets all requirements of content and off-times.
10% Conceptualizes innovative graphic and pre-production elements. Monitors and works to constantly improve and evolve the look and execution of program.
5% Coordinates with creative services department to develop effective promotions for upcoming shows.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications or a related field, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Two years producing newscasts or live programs for a television or cable station.
Must have Line Producing Experience with script writing and editorial experience preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
INews or similar
Must have in-depth knowledge of entertainment, popculture and lifestyle trends
Ability to work a flexible work schedule and work as a member of a team.
Advanced understanding of show presentation.
Excellent writing and graphics skills; ability to provide an interesting and substantive product.
Must be results oriented.
Ability to focus on coordination of daily and long range segments from first contact to on-air product.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a creative fast paced environment.
Ability to make quick decisions without losing composure.
Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously.
