Job Description
Ubisoft is looking for a Product Manager - Digital Marketing in its San Francisco office. This Position will be part of the Worldwide Distribution IT Organization (Group) with the primary focus focus on the digital marketing products. The first priority will be in developing and delivering the new ubisoft.com web product for the NCSA and EMEA business organizations with the global business teams, an external consultant (Catalyst) and the internal IT teams. The Position will ensure that global digital marketing business requirements and priorities are evaluated consistently, documented accordingly so that solutions are built to specification and implemented by the teams within the agreed timeline. The Position will collaborate deeply with the HQ IT and TG GO2 teams to ensure technical sharing and reuse and the transition of Ubisoft.com to live operations and evolution by the IT teams.
The Position is also responsible for communication between the business and IT teams, manages the product backlogs with the IT teams and other partners, and ensure all transversal, cross domain features and are aligned in terms of priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintains an active knowledge and overall understanding of industry best practices related to CX with a focus fostering a successful customer journey.
• Maintains an active knowledge and overall understanding of the related technology opportunities that enable optimization and improvement for the products supporting the digital marketing business activity, always keeping in mind the final added value for our end customer..
• Champions the use of data and analytics to measure and propel success.
• Consistently connecting the business stakeholders in establishing a product vision and a roadmap to help improve the customer journey and experience.
• Produce, analyze, refine and document business requirements and user stories to be included in the appropriate product backlogs based on the agreed upon priority by the business, internal IT, and external teams.
• Drive the scoping for new digital product concepts including business case, supporting metrics and measurement plan, business requirements, product specifications and prototyping.
• Work closely with the business and technical architectures to ensure seletion or reuse of existing products are well documented and meet the strategic objectives of the products (I.E. CMS tool selection, comments section, universal Ubisoft bar, etc.)
• Build and groom product backlogs. Create and groom short, medium and long-term product roadmaps and get internal agreement with business stakeholders and provide visibility across the teams (IT and Business).
• Works with other Product Owners /Managers (Community Development, Marketing Analytics, CRM, E-Commerce, Customer Support, etc.) and other production partners to prioritize feature and stories with external dependencies, ensuring a transversal prioritization of the issues that need to be delivered , especially in relationship with the Community Platform and the overall web ecosystem and vision.
• Lead business review sessions and user acceptance testing sessions to ensure that the product design meets the requirements, reducing the rework and accelerating the pace of delivery.
• Identify risks, define mitigation plans and escalates issues requiring management attention.
• Ensures a good communication and training strategy on the released features.
Qualifications
• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or related field
• 7-8 years of experience such as: Product Owner, Digital Marketing, Digital Project Management, Technical Program Manager, Platform Manager or Consultant.
• 4+ years of experience with localization and global projects.
• 4+ years of experience developing and analyzing user stories, epics and/or story boards working closely with business owners, business partners and development team.
• 4+ years practicing Agile/Scrum
• 3-5 years of expertise in digital marketing
• Must have demonstrated experience in developing deep business and industry acumen, with the proven ability to influence and build consensus across organizations, geographies, and management levels.
• Must have experience managing mid to large complex projects in a web application environment with cross-functional teams at a global scale.
• Should have proven experiences in understanding data and analytics practices with examples of applying changes in the platform based upon data science that provides enhanced customer digital experiences.
• Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently and the ability to work with diverse members of a project team, including business leaders, technical leaders, developers, system administrators, and live operations.
• Proven understanding of information technology foundations (e.g. networking, application architecture, hardware/infrastructure, authentication/authorization).
• Experience with selecting and implementing enterprise business applications.
• Experience working across geographical and organizational boundaries is preferred.
• Must have a deep knowledge and experience interacting with multi solution application development and optimization.
• Should have proven experiences in providing and understanding context specific customer facing experiences targeting customer acquisition and retention goals.
• Should have experience with selection, implementation and customization and analysis of CMS platforms and initiatives.
• Excellent communication and meeting coordination skills including presentation techniques, and meeting facilitation.
• Passion for gaming; fluent in English, French is a plus.
