QUEST OBJECTIVES
Overwatch League is a global, world-class esports ecosystem designed from the ground up to ensure that teams and players can thrive for years to come, and that their fans have the best experience possible. Overwatch League melds Blizzard’s experience in esports with best practices of time-honored traditional sports.
The summer intern in Strategy & Team Business Operations will support a wide range of strategic initiatives focused on helping the teams participating in the Overwatch League build their new brands, win fans from around the world, and grow their businesses. You will be responsible for helping identify and recommend best practices to all our teams by conducting primary and secondary research and building analytical models.
Eligibility Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a college or university, or planning to enroll in Fall 2017
• Returning for at least one more semester or quarter following the Summer 2018 internship
• Able to work fulltime hours for 11 – 12 weeks at the Blizzard office indicated in this job posting between May 2018 – August 2018 or June 2018 – September 2018 (group dates depend on when you get out of school)
• Authorized to work in the US
LEVEL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be an analytical thinker and enjoy solving problems using data
• Passionate about esports and the Overwatch League
• Comfort working with PowerPoint and Excel
