Quest Objectives
Blizzard is looking for a talented and enthusiastic program manager, Intern to join our corporate applications team in Irvine, California. Our team is constantly researching, building and deploying new and innovative technologies for use by Blizzard employees. In this role you will interface with our business stakeholders, product design and software engineering teams in delivery of custom applications and vendor cloud software solutions.
• Investigate new technology platforms.
• Lead technology initiatives to launch new solutions, products and features.
• Build relationships and work with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and partner with technology teams to propose solutions.
• Prioritize work as a day-to-day product owner on project teams using an Agile methodology.
• Work with development teams in design, build, and test solutions.
Eligibility Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a college or university, or planning to enroll in Fall 2017
• Returning for at least one more semester or quarter following the Summer 2018 internship
• Able to work fulltime hours for 11 – 12 weeks at the Blizzard office indicated in this job posting between May 2018 – August 2018 or June 2018 – September 2018 (group dates depend on when you get out of school)
Level Requirements
• Familiar with project management or software development processes
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
• Self-motivated with strong initiative, ability to work in a dynamic work environment
• Eager to learn, and great with collaboration across different teams
• Passion for Blizzard games
