Director, Enterprise Sales

JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Enterprise Sales will be responsible for achieving Enterprise Sales Division revenue and business development goals. Working with current and new data partners, clients, agencies, other MVPDs, and national rep firms as required, this person will be responsible for proactively selling data-infused advertising campaigns and developing new revenue for Spectrum Reach by leveraging proprietary datasets in a privacy compliant manner.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Meet or exceed revenue goals by leveraging Spectrum Reach unique and proprietary datasets.
• Generate new and incremental revenue by developing current and new business relationships and working to understand and subsequently present how our proprietary datasets can solve key marketing challenges for customers and prospects.
• Prospect for new customers, cultivate relationships and negotiate with clients, advertising agencies and new channel partners.
• Prepare and present proposals and presentations showcasting Spectrum Reach Advanced Media platforms and advertising opportunities to key decision makers.
• Work with internal planning resources to create effective, data-informed advertising campaigns, confirm orders, and provide post campaign follow up.
• Work with internal operational and support colleagues to insure campaign fulfillment and clients’ expectations are properly communicated then achieved or exceeded.
• Identify and present potential data partnership opportunities and offer feedback on client needs for future product consideration and/or development.
• Prepare and submit required reporting as directed.
• Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition and financial reporting.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• A minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in local broadcast, cable, online or data-driven media sales
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, supervisory, motivational, organizational, research and analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
• Demonstrated record of exceptional leadership, business development and implementation.
• Deep understanding of advertising industry, spot cable and data driven applications, ratings, shares, cost per point, cpm, etc.
• Possess strong analytical skills and familiarity with broadcast ratings and research terms and tools
• Must be a team-player and thrive in an environment that promotes strong individual skills that are easily applied to the goals of the team and the entire organization.
• Creative self-starter with the ability to proactively problem solve, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; works on and completes multiple tasks at one time, meets deadlines, and self-recognizes and adapts to priorities that change often.
• Excellent and proven relationship-building skills.
• Strong written and demonstrated oral presentation skills and the ability to organize and manage multiple projects.
• Shows commitment to self-development and/or demonstrated desire to learn new ways of doing business, staying abreast of competitors/industry major initiatives, latest technology, etc.
• Strong PC skills required, including solid working knowledge of all Microsoft Office suite including excel and PowerPoint as well as a solid understanding of Nielsen, comScore, Arbitron, Tapscan and/or other related research products.
• Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards and auto insurance
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing, Communications, or related field.
