Cumulus Media Bridgeport is offering a great opportunity to learn the sales side of the radio broadcasting industry as a Sales Coordinator. This position will be responsible for assisting the Sales Staff and Leadership in the daily administrative functions of the Sales Department. Job Description:
• Provide sales and administrative support to account executives, Regional Vice President, Vice President of Sales and National Sales
• Create proposals for use in pitching new and current clients to close sales.
• Upkeep with sales packages
• Process orders for National/Local sales and creative to stations quickly and accurately
• In charge of daily operations such as inputting sales orders, creative, accounts maintenance and discrepancies
• Maintenance of confidentiality of all employment related information, issues and overlooking the EEO Public File for the FCC
• Quarterly recruitment mailings of internal job postings
• Prepare and submit expense reports in compliance with company policy to ensure accurate reimbursement
• Interact with agencies for invoice fulfillment
• Maintain internal CRM database for local and national accounts
• Maintained daily and monthly sales reports, including the quarterly budgets
• Responsible in training of co-workers in company software
Required Experience:
• 1-3 years previous experience in sales, marketing, advertising or promotions preferred
• Superior organization and written/oral communication skills
• Able to build and maintain strong relationships
• Flexible and adaptable to change with excellent time management skills
• Extensive computer skills including but not limited to extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, image manipulation, social media and the ability to adapt to proprietary computer systems
• Background in radio station continuity or sales helpful
