Overview and Responsibilities
Nickelodeon is seeking a Coordinator, Broadcast Operations to support the delivery of all of the Nickelodeon Group’s short-form content and broadcast operations. Facilitate and coordinate all aspects of execution and delivery of on- and off-channel, and digital short-form content. Responsible for music reporting for all Nickelodeon Group networks and upholding archival standards for delivered short-form media.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Maintain the On-Air Promotions database with up-to-date information for Nickelodeon Group promos and digital content
• Assign DSID numbers to each piece of short-form, including exact tags, lengths and airdates
• Create music cue submission forms to be standardized for use network-wide
• Create and distribute traffic, housecode, and on-air catapult delivery reports both daily and weekly
• Research music cue information online and using the Viacom Music Library to ensure accuracy in reporting
• Report music cues for Nickelodeon Group networks to Music & Media Licensing, and Rights & Clearances Departments
• Act as a liaison between the Nickelodeon International department and all other departments in relation to music cues and workreels
• Work with Nickelodeon International to modify and develop the On-Air Promotions database and reports to suit their needs
• Work closely with TechOps and creative team members to troubleshoot problem catapult files
• Train newly hired creative team members in music cue reporting expectations and procedures
• Track deliverables for all of the Nickelodeon Group
• Work closely with ProdApps on OAP/UAT Beta testing in preparation for new version releases
• Assist with quality check of promos, housecodes and digitial workreels for correct tag, graphic, voice over and tune in information of all final spots
• Maintain an efficient workflow within OAP Recent Catapult Screeners; working with ProdApps when necessary
• Confirm that rundowns contain accurate listing of all music used for each promo or housecode. Once approved, deliver promo, housecode and related short-form content to the NOC to ensure scheduled airdate or digital premiere
• Work in tandem with Media Library Coordinator
• Submit detailed traffic reports to the programming department listing all new promos and housecodes
• Keep in contact with various project managers, producers and productions assistants while maintaining and tracking promos and housecodes for Nickelodeon Kids and Family Networks
• Give support to broadcast operations manager and director as needed
Basic Qualifications
