Overview and Responsibilities
The Coordinator, Corporate Social Responsibility supports all efforts in the company’s commitment to positively impact society and the environment. This position also provides primary administrative support to the Vice President, Corporate Social Responsibility and Internal Communications.
Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:
• Assists with the design and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility programs for Paramount’s key initiatives -- Education, Environment, Volunteerism & HIV/AIDS – which promote the company’s favorable public image and enhance Paramount’s business growth
• Processes and tracks charitable contributions and in-kind donations to non-profit organizations
• Supports Paramount’s ongoing volunteerism program, including assisting with planning of monthly meetings, interacting with non-profit organizations and helping orchestrate the company’s annual day of community service
• May attend both internal and external meetings and events on behalf of the department
• Drafts content, prepares images and maintains updates on the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Intranet site
• Will oversee one mentoring program with Paramount’s education initiative. Oversight to include acting as the liaison with our non-profit facilitator and public school partner, planning and attending sessions, ordering catering, etc.
• Generates correspondences and other required paperwork
• Answers phones
• Schedules meetings and arranges travel
• Maintains daily schedules and calendar
• Photocopies, facsimile / e-mail distribution
• Routes incoming and outgoing mail that may include large distribution lists
• Creates and maintains files
• Generates expense reports
• Completes special projects as assigned
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3 years experience

• Attention to detail and extremely good organizational skills
• Event planning experience
• Strong follow up skills with both internal and external partners
• The ability to keep multiple projects moving forward at the simultaneously
• External relationships with or interest in non-profit partners
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment under time constrains while multi-tasking and prioritizing as necessary
• Ability to demonstrate good judgment and use discretion when dealing with sensitive issues
• Ability to lift and transport boxes or other items up to 25 pounds, unassisted or with a push cart
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat software and Adobe PhotoShop
• Familiarity with Sharepoint
