The Role
We are seeking an intern in the marketing department of the Atlanta clubs & theaters office. This internship is designed to offer students a hands-on learning experience in the marketing and booking aspects of the live entertainment industry.
Learning Opportunities
• How to research a concert's target audience
• How creative marketing campaigns develop and adapt over time
• Importance of building and maintaining relationships with local media and industry contacts
• How to maximize the effectiveness of social media channels
• How to coordinate promotional efforts
Requirements
• Enrolled at an accredited College or University and eligible to receive college credit (students are responsible for obtaining pre-approval from their department's academic advisor)
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license a must
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, Music, or related is preferred
• Knowledge of social media management preferred
• Detail-oriented
• The ability to multi-task efficiently on a daily basis
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks at a rapid pace.
• The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter at all times
• Some evenings and weekends are required
