Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales primary responsibility is to develop a cohesive airport sales and marketing team, maximizing airport related National advertising opportunities and drive successful airport collaboration in current and potential Clear Channel markets. This leader will be a player/coach, able to support their team throughout the sales process and generate senior level discussions at the client and agency level. The right candidate is a team player, fluent in major media types, brings a consultative approach and an acute ability to determine top line strategy and develop a road map to achieve various major business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develops the region’s Sales, Marketing and Airport teams in the region through recruiting, selecting and growing exceptional sales talent
• Manages, develops and coaches sales team and holds them accountable against metrics.
• Drives for revenue goal attainment, both quarterly and annually while reporting revenue projections and forecasts for revenue originating within West Coast markets (Export) and outside of (Import).
• Leads General Managers, Account Executives, Business Operation Managers and Sales Coordinators in development and design of compelling airport marketing plans and presentations.
• Accountable for West Coast team’s Salesforce.com compliance and projections
• Partners with airport management leads and Revenue Management to develop a competitive and dynamic pricing structure that yields maximum results
• Conducts ongoing rate and occupancy analysis, growth strategies and market condition promotions to achieve organizational metrics of success.

Job Qualifications:
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
• Graduate degree preferred.
Work Experience
• 10+ years in National Advertising Sales, multi-platform/integrated experience preferred.
• 5+ years leading a sales organization, with specific accomplishments in strategic roles directly empowering sales teams, building relationships with all levels within an organization and driving cultural change. Managing a virtual team is preferred.
• OOH sales experience preferred.
• Networked with senior level agency and direct client contacts.
Skills
• Working knowledge of media measurement based on current marketplace demand.
• A passion for delivering impactful, ‘ cut through the clutter’, big ideas versus standard media executions.

• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to quickly pivot in a fast- paced environment
• Detail oriented, strong organizational and time management skills.
• Has excellent verbal and written communications skills including delivering effective presentations and leading meetings.

• Able to present one’s self in a highly cooperative and professional manner when meeting internal and external customers and vendors face to face.
• Must have working knowledge of Windows operating system and be proficient in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Physical Demands
