Job Summary:
iHeartRadio is looking for an ambitious, hard working , social media guru who lives and breathes digital media. Candidates for this position will be the first to check social media in the morning to see the latest news and trends. Finally, we need the ultimate team player who can handle a constantly changing digital landscape and fast paced environment.
• Work with Director of Social Media Strategy to execute cohesive and engaging social media campaigns across iHeartRadio national accounts.
• Execute iHeartRadio’s social media messaging and interactions across all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, Musical.ly.
• Create timely social media content with video editing and graphic design programs.
• Working to advanced knowledge of video editing platforms (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut) and graphic design programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Develop creative online engagement tactics in cooperation with editorial, programming, sales, and app development teams in support of the marketing strategy and goals.
• Assist with managing, developing and optimizing our paid social media programs and packages.
• Constantly engage iHeartRadio’s existing fan base 24/7, 365 days a year while maintaining a social editorial calendar.
• Assist local stations with platform issues and escalate them to platform partners.
Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of social media or digital marketing experience.
• In depth knowledge of video editing platforms (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut)
• In depth knowledge of graphic design programs (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Strong copywriter with ability to proofread
• Proven track record running social for major media outlets.
• Ability to work in a fast paced work environment, managing multiple tasks across multiple teams.
• Must be a team player, contributing ideas in large group meetings and possessing superior and persuasive communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required. A degree in Marketing and/or Media/Communications preferred.
