Overview
The Baltimore Sun seeks an outstanding visual journalist to intern for Summer 2018. Our intern gets great real-world experience working daily and advance assignments, shooting primarily video and some photo assignments for The Sun and baltimoresun.com. The internship runs 12 weeks starting the week of May 14th and pays $571 a week.
Qualifications
• Strong video shooting, editing and narrative storytelling skills
• Must have had a previous internship at a TV, newspaper or other daily news organization.
• Strong news judgment
• Well-rounded portfolio that includes both video and still work. Portfolio web links with resumes are required for consideration.
• Experienced in Adobe Premiere or Final Cut and Photoshop
• Knowledge of working remotely, sending pictures, multimedia and video via FTP.
• Must be a currently enrolled college student or a recent graduate.
• Cannot have more than one year continuous professional experience in the job for which they are hired as an intern
