Overview
Ideal candidate will have relevant internship, school, and job experience as well as excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and an eagerness to learn. Candidates should be detail-oriented and independent workers who are eager to grow their career!
Responsibilities
• Develop sales and marketing materials including proposals, sales plans and agreements for The Daily Meal and The Active Times
• Communicate with clients and agencies for RFPs and post-sale needs
• Support marketing team on pre-sale needs, including writing copy, working with designer on custom mocks, updating existing decks, etc
• Process all digital sales plans and client needs
• Research advertising/event sponsorship opportunities
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of media/publishing experience preferred
• Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent deadlines
• Ability to manage competing priorities and to prioritize tasks in a timely manner
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple projects at once
• High attention to detail; accuracy is key
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
