EMEA PCS PORT & Indices - Client Services Relationship Manager
Our (PORT) business launched in 2010 and has expanded across the buy-side as one of the largest multi-asset portfolio risk and attribution platforms servicing over 50,000 users globally.
Our recent acquisition of the Barclays Risk Analytics and Index Solutions (BRAIS) in August 2016 has enabled us to service a wider community of asset managers and asset owners and to build a best of breed platform using POINT analytics with our existing PORT analytics through accelerated product development and integration.
What’s the role?
You will play a meaningful role as an advanced product specialist on our Portfolio Client Services team, consulting and leading our largest and most influential buy-side customers to migrate their workflow from POINT to PORT and provide pre-sales and post-sales product support and training to prospects and customers. We are looking for highly motivated and organised leaders who are looking to contribute to building Bloomberg as the leading multi-asset portfolio risk and analytics platform in the market.
You will need strong relationship management skills and possess advanced product knowledge of PORT and indices as well as an in-depth knowledge of fixed income and derivatives. You will take the initiative to widen your proficiencies through global networks, exposure to both buy-side and sell-side markets and strategies, and growing your specialised knowledge through client trainings and seminars to pitch our portfolio analytics and risk tools - performance attribution, risk factor models.
This is a relationship management role and requires regular travel to support your clients across the EMEA region, as well as providing support to our PCS colleagues in Asia-Pac and the Americas for those customers in other regions who have offices in Europe. You will use your strong project management capabilities to coordinate all aspects of the on-boarding process, including working with the integration teams, understanding the client workflow, providing in-depth trainings and assisting clients in reconciling data and penetrating usage across the accounts.
The ability to work within a small global team and collaborate across various teams (including PORT sales, product managers, enterprise and terminal sales) is crucial. The PCS team works closely with our global business managers and are enabled for the first beta versions of any new product releases, therefore, ongoing constructive feedback and input is highly valuable to the role. The role is well-suited for individuals who are passionate about product and who wish to pursue advanced product leadership opportunities.
You’ll need to have:
• A deep understanding of PORT
• Strong knowledge of fixed income and derivatives
• Relationship Management skills and project management experience
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills in order to interact with clients in a highly articulate, consultative and confident manner
• Attention to detail and a can-do collaborator mind-set
• Ability and eagerness to play a constructive role in a high growth environment with strong multi-tasking abilities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
We would love to see:
• Masters degree or CFA
• European languages
