Manager, Originals Marketing
Manage the creation and execution of high profile, integrated marketing campaigns for Starz Original Programming, including show positioning and strategy, creative, and media deliverables across multiple platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as main contact for marketing assets and information across departments; create and sustain productive relationships with internal and external partners.
• Manage internal and external agencies, providing direction and clear feedback for on-air, print, outdoor, and digital creative. Ensure that all deliverable deadlines are met and delivered to appropriate specs.
• Work closely with show lead to develop show positioning, campaign strategy and agency creative briefs for new and returning Starz Originals. Consolidate key information into on-brand, visually appealing decks and presentations; provide notes and feedback throughout the creative review process.
• Manage video, print and digital assets; liaise between agencies, internal creative services and trafficking. Clearly communicate notes, timelines and deliverables; review and approve assets for media buys.
• Create and update essential campaign documents including video grids, campaign rollouts, marketing calendar, decks for Executive and EP presentations.
• Assist with the management of marketing events and stunts; provide direction to agencies, vendors and internal partners, manage on-site creative, brand ambassadors and the creation and distribution of premiums and collateral.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communications or similar discipline; 6+ years’ experience in entertainment marketing and creative development/ execution.
• Specific marketing experience launching premium-level original series on the network or agency side is key.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in an environment where integrated disciplines were represented: broadcast, print, interactive, etc., and were utilized to advance initiatives such as branding, promotion, direct response.
• Must be a team player, collaborative, proactive and flexible.
• Must be familiar with the creative development and production process.
• Self-directed, efficient and able to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a professional and confident manner under tight deadlines.
• Display good judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledgeable in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Project software applications.
