Where am I based?
New York/London
What do we do?
NEWSPICKS USA is a joint venture between Dow Jones and Uzabase, a leading Japanese digital business. NEWSPICKS USA will be a digital aggregated news product differentiated by sharing and commenting features. Given public concern over news quality, publishers’ growing frustration with the dominant online distribution platforms and advertisers’ increasing focus on brand safety, we believe the time is right for an innovative, subscription-driven mobile product. Given News Corp’s and Dow Jones strong stance on the state of online news distribution, the investment would also marry our corporate messaging and disruptive aspirations.
NPUSAwill attract and retain customers by creating personalized experiences and valued relationships via premium content. We will work across all of the elite publishing brands to appeal to a broad, high-level client base and provide a distinctive experience to each one.
